Spill Containment
Definition: What is Spill Containment?
Spill containment products are used to prevent or mitigate pollution of air, soil and water from hazardous substances, especially (and usually) liquids. Spill berms are used most frequently to contain oil-filled equipment, such as fuel tanks, truck washing decks, or any other areas or objects that might leak hazardous substances or materials.
Besides usage of berms, these spill management products include specially equipped pallets and railcar track pan systems.
