Nonstep Beam Application
Definition: What is a Nonstep Beam Application?
An application in which the area of wire decking support is confined to the surface area on the top of the front and rear beams for the rack. This is known as a non step beam application.
Non step beams offer just one horizontal surface to place rack decking on, for example, such as in box or tubing configurations.
A step beam, on the other hand, provides two horizontal surfaces to place the rack decking on. In most cases, the top surface supports the deck and the lower surface supports the reinforcing members.
