Blow Molded Pallet
Definition: What is a Blow Molded Pallet?
A pallet that has been made by heating a plastic material and extruding it into tubing is known as the blow-molded pallet. A section is cut to the desired length to create a parison. The parison is defined as a partially shaped mass of molten glass. It is introduced into a mold cavity. Air is introduced into the parison to inflate the parison to make it conform to the geometry of the mold of the pallet. Fully formed and cooled, the pallet is released from the mold for secondary operations such as machining and trimming.
