In a dynamic, and dangerous environment, like a warehouse, it is inevitable that smartphones, tablets and laptops will get jostled, knocked, dropped and in some cases all out destroyed while on the job. Sometimes a manager may want data recovery for a warehouse operation. If so there are only few options.

It is a tough place to operate technology in. That is because it is a fast paced environment with a lot of hazards at play. Plus, hard industrial floors are unforgiving when sensitive electronics are dropped.

So what are you to do if you end up with damaged or inoperable technology, due to a mishap, where a gadget has met its end under a pallet or a wheel of a forklift.

Well, anyone taking technology into a warehouse should obviously safeguard the gear with protective cases. And backup their data so it can be recovered. However not everyone has this kind of foresight, or even knows how to backup their data.

Seemingly impossible data recovery for a warehouse can be done using a service

In the case of damage phones, tablets or computer that will not start up again, your best option is to engage the services of a data recovery company like DriveSavers, which has locations across the U.S. and Canada. For example if you are at a warehouse in southern California, for example, you can drop off a broken computer or gadget to their office in San Diego, Los Angeles or Irvine, and it will be shipped to their data recovery team in Novato, California.

Option #2 is to contact them directly and they will Fedex the broken device to their lab. Recover the data. And then ship your drive back. The data recovery service fee includes the cost for two-way shipping.

DriveSavers is not the only game in town. However, it does offer international service and has data recovery experts on called 24×7. So, if you are fretting over priceless data that you fear has been forever lost, then you’ll want to use a data recovery service. It will ensure a data loss isn’t permanent.
