Block Pallet
Definition: What is a Block Pallet?
A block pallet, together with stringer pallet, forms the basis of the class of flat transport structures used to support materials and/or goods that are lifted or otherwise manipulated by material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, or front loader.
Usually stronger than stringer pallets, block pallets are constructed using both parallel and perpendicular stringers. That allows more efficient handling. They are also known as “four-way” pallets because their construction allows pallet-jacks to approach them from any side to move them.
